New Job
Finally I have the time to update on my new job and what had happened over the past week. First day at work has been alright, before stepping into my new office I was tasked to head down for product training. And this is even before my proper HR orientation. So I went down not knowing anyone. It was quite a culture shock for me, totally different from my previous workplace. Oh well. Anyway, the workload is quite heavy and I kinda like that, at least I would stop feeling bored and struggling to find things to do.
My projects for the rest of the year are pretty much fixed and it'll be busy busy busy from now till then. There's the comex show this weekend, a brainstorming session at genting next weekend, followed by more product trainings and lastly, preparation for SITEX 2006 and the Funan show this coming Dec. In between, there are the ads to deal with. Honestly, I do feel excited.. hah.. i feel like a kid. I really welcome the pressure.
Anyway, nuff said about work, it's barely a week here, more updates to come.
In terms of my personal life, I have a new addition to my family. Nope, my mum aint pregnant. But, we've adopted a dog! hahah. Finally and long awaited. Actually this came unexpectedly, in the past it has always been kevin and I wanting a dog, and kevin was desperately trying to buy or adopt one for me. But my mum was picky and pretty demanding on the terms and conditions of adopting a dog. But anyway, this time round, this lobang was my mum's! 2 lobangs in fact. The one we chose is a 5 year old male Bichon. All white and fluffy. It's pretty obediant and can do some small tricks, like sit and shake hands. But of coz there are problems too, such as it has terrible bad breathe, really smelly and it needs some toilet training. It keeps shitting and peeing at the wrong places. My dad is pretty pissed of with it. Other than that, he's pretty adorable. And I think he has a fetish for towels. He loves to pull it down from the hanger and run around with it. Also, he keeps spinning each time someone moves. It's really funny.
Anyway, this is my first time owning a dog, other times were just housing the dogs until their owners come back. Guess there's alot to learn. But I always look forward to return home and see my dog.
BTW... my dog's name is BUDDY! ahha.... we usually care for my family friend's dog too and her name is Holly. So when Holly comes over in Dec, I'll have buddy holly in my house! heheh... i think weezer's Buddy Holly song can be their theme song.
Alright, I shld head back to work. Pics of buddy will be uploaded soon!
