Day of Packing
Sigh, I really can't believe we're really moving. Next week this time, I'll be NOT IN PARKMALL but in BISHAN JUNCTION 8! argh! yucks.
I can imagine that the usual time waking up would be the time I'll be standing at the MRT station waiting for the train. The only ever good thing out of this is that I get to have a seat throughout my journey to work, since J.E is the first stop of the route. Heheh revenge! I'll be stealing the seats from those at Bukit Batok and Chua Chu Kang!
Anyway, today is packing day and so is tomorrow. Since I'm one of the newer kids on the block, I have one of the least to pack and actually at this very moment, I'm actually 3/4 done. I've left whatever essential things I need for tomorrow before I pack everything away in the boxes. Surprisingly during my 6 months stint... I actually accumulated alot of of rubbish ie (papers, papers and more papers). Anyway, tomorrow is gng to be boring, they're moving the server to the new office, that means I will not have any Internet to surf or MSN to chit chat or even Class 95fm to entertain me. Oh no.... boring friday. Oh well.
Yes... I still can't believe next week I'll be at Bishan. Imagine only having junction 8 to entertain me, shopping, eating.. will all be in this shopping centre. Sigh.. I'm already missing orchard rd and plaza singapura. Soon travelling to the gym would be longer and now I'm really unsure if i can really make it for the 7.30pm classes.
Anyway, I should be looking forward to my super duper long weekend or for that matter my holiday. I managed to claim 1.5 days off for next week during the closure, and use 1.5 days leave for the remaining days. The week is gng to be rather exciting and fun. Let's see what's planned:
Fri: Gracia's Bday
Sat: BBQ
Sun: Rest + Gym
Monday: Gym + Outing with Kevin
Tuesday: Bringing my Japanese friend to Sentosa
Wednesday: Perhaps lunch with Jap friend, Dental appt, RCIA
Thursday: Back to work, unpack stuff, and bore myself at Junction 8
Friday: Looking forward to weekend
Saturday: Watching play "Second Link", dinner
Sunday: dreading Monday is coming.
Yep, quite a week to come. I'm looking forward to the visit by my Jap friend whom I met in Melbourne. Sweet girl.. really sweet girl, so nice and so..polite! It's gng to be fun.
Sigh...... i actually still have alot of things to bring home especially the catcus farm. I really dunno how to bring the whole pot back. I think I'll drive to office this saturday to collect it back. It's gng to be so funny carrying the pot area. People carry flowers, I carry catcus. Hhahaah... anyway, my catus looks like its gng to die, perhaps its the lack of care and lack of actual sunlight. Hopefully after i transport it back home, it'll be better.
I think I can finally decorate my own table once I'm at the new office. Personalised it with pictures, nice lil decors and a mirror so that I can see if anyone is staring from my back, or to see if boss is coming ard my area soon. This time, my back will be facing walk way and so I cant see who's walking pass me and now the boss is sitting really near us. So much of freedom. haha. Oh well. I really hope the new office's design will be nice and impressive. I really dont like offices that look old or messy, it just doesn't reflect well on the company's image. From the designs, it still looks okay, but i wonder whats the colour scheme gng to be like. Oh ya, one other bad thing about the new office, the toilet is outside. Oooo hideout for peeping toms. oh well.....
Anyway.... i think i've bitched enought abt my new office. I shld have some positive thoughts towards it. hai... cannot leh.
