Wah liao..... what a week. Oh well. At least half of them is fun and light-hearted. Plus thankfully I dont have the visitors programme to worry abt, since the lady had been so nice and more imptly she knows s'pore so well and have s'porean friends... she practically doesnt need my help and my company! hahah! The only time i accompanied her was the first day of the visitors programme and this morning when I sent her to the airport. But she's been nice, extended invitation to me to visit her when I do go to Philippines for holiday, she'll house me. Actually, I really wouldn't mind gng to Philippines and have a look, sounds like a nice touristy places. There's high mountains, hot springs, shopping, food.. etc. Plus it's cheap.. hmmm.. idea...
Anyway, I'm stuck in the office now waiting for some people to come for a meeting. Have to open the door for them, because my area is securely locked and you need an access card to move ard. Argh... but oh well.. i needed to kill time... since the farewell thing is at 8pm. We're meeting at this place nicknamed Little Bali, apparantly it's one of those ulu drinkign places which looks like Bali. Hahah.. shld be quite cool. Will see if its a good chill out place, if yes, will recommend to others.
Went to Little India this afternoon to accompany my colleagues coz one of them is collecting her Sari. We're attending a colleague's wedding next Saturday and the dress code is Chinois Chic (translates to Chinese or Indian or both) Ye.. most of my colleagues are dressing in Indian style, only a couple will go in their Cheong Sums. I'm still deciding what to wear... but Indian looks like a potential choice. Walked around Tekka Market to see what stuff do they have. Lots of lovely punjabi suits, the indian dresses, mid driffs.. etcs. Saw one Turqoise Chiffon dress... apparantly it's a designer piece and it's the only piece.. selling at $165.00. Quite ex. Saw a yellow phoncho dress, $170. Heh... ex too! I think i need to head down to Lil india again next week and spend a good few hrs searching for the nicest, most appropriate and yet still can use anywhere else outfit. If not.. come worst to worst... buy a cheong sum top lor. But I should dress something different for a change, besides, I was told by my colleagues that I shld invest in some ethnic clothings since SIF events always have the ethnic theme. So ye... up next... sarong kebaya, thai skirt, cheong sum... and the other Asian outfits. Heh.. more reasons to shop. Hopefully I can find a nice outfit for the wedding, will post pics next week to show u the final product.
Shld be quite fun shopping ard for ethnic clothings.
ha!
okie..... 15 more mins and im outta here!
Good evening everyone!
