Got some time for updates ...
Finally... managed to find some time to do a lil updating. Managed to pack abt 3/4 of my stuff into kevin's car. I have too many things... too many rubbish that is. If only i can just throw away everything and go home with a light load... oh well.. some things u just can't throw. Okie....some updates on what had happened in my life over the pass weeks.... it's a bit long.... so hope i remember some of it.
Gold coast trip!
Left on the 13th to the gold coast... finally a well-deserved break for kevin and myself, both a break after the exams and a yr of studying... and also a break frm cold melbourne. Arrived gold coast in the night... and we didn't have a place to stay... thought we could find a cheap backpackers to stay in but after driving to quite a number of places.... all we saw were NO VACANCY...hours later... i gave up... and suggested to head to the casino to kill time and later find a nice spot and sleep in the rented car. I thought maybe in the casino we could try our luck and win us a night stay somewhere... one of the bigger motels which have 24 hr receptions, our luck was pretty good.. we both won some money... but greedy me.. decided to defy myself and play the $25 table... and in just 4 rounds... i lost all my money, including my winnings. Ha... what luck... and for sure... the car was be our rented room for the night. We managed to find a nice spot at 5am along the beach of surfers paradise to see the sunrise and to sleep for a couple of hours. The sight was beautiful, it was even more beautiful to see the sunrise with kevin on our anniversary. anyway.... to cut long long loooong story short... kevin and myself went round gold coast to sight see, shop, eat then finally checked into a hotel. During the trip, we visted seaworld, movieworld, honeyworld, brisbane, went across the NSW borders, suntanned, had a nice time with a group of friends (janelle, jon, charmaine and jason, germaine and graham, etc) It was a good thing kevin and myself rented a car, we managed to see much more besides the WORLDS... and i felt it was a rather enjoyable trip.. the weather was fantastic and it's just great to relax and not to worry abt anything (cept for exam results).

Happenings in Melbourne
Well.. after gold coast trip... life in melbourne was pretty hectic too.
Felice's visit
Kev's friend, felice came to visit frm sydney. It's a shopping trip for her, so brought her to chapel street, smith street, bridge road, dfo, st. kilda and the city. It was nice to go to these shopping places, but poor me spent all my money in gold coast that i was left with nothing much to buy in mel. Her visit was pretty good i reckon, hope she enjoyed herself, only thing was that it was a bit too cold for her. After she left, it was back to packing, working and more packing and working.
22nd birthday
Well... this yr's one was really a low key event, did nothing much, had kevin to celebrate the day with. Was pretty upset initially coz my mum had actually forgotten my bday, she thought it was a week later, but luckily i reminded her at an earlier conversation. But then... even when the clock striked 12 (melbourne time) parents didnt call, my bro didn't call too..... even the next morning.... they didnt call. i was beginning to feel insignificant.. seems like it was only kevin who remembered my birthday. In the end.... only in late afternoon then did my parents called, bro smsed me at 3am the next morning. Ho well...... Honestly... this year's bday wasn't as good as i hoped it would have been. The only highlights of the day were the nice MUD cake frm myers kevin bought, Kevin's pressie a( nice CK perfume packages with 5 different scents), kevin cooking breakfast for me, and a stand up comedy show. Ye..... that was it. Wasn't the happy happy birthday i really wanted or was hoping to have... but shall leave the comments and feelings to myself.
Working and packing
ye... been working...and also been packing my stuff.. moving to the city. By now.. i've completely moved all my stuff to the city and my clayton room is empty and hopefully clean enough for the agents to return me my bond. Clayton was a nice place to live in... though boring... it was a better environment to study. I had some fond memories of clayton overall...more updates on that later.
Work has been alright.... luckily the pay is good coz the work can be shitty sometimes. Never in my wildest dreams i would thought i would have worked as a F&B attendant aka waitressing. The job isn't that bad.. but sometimes i'm just not in the mood to serve people or maybe i feel being asian and the few yellow-coloured skin in the work place doesn't help much... but then.... just a few more shifts and i'm saying bye bye to this job.... no more... or ever will i work as a waitress, besides singapore doesn't pay well for such jobs.
Guess that's pretty much what happeend the past few weeks...in the coming weeks more things happening, family will be here next friday, results out this week, graduation in 2 weeks time, more work and finally on the 21st.. i'm heading home for good.
