Got some time for updates ... Finally... managed to find some time to do a lil updating. Managed to pack abt 3/4 of my stuff into kevin's car. I have too many things... too many rubbish that is. If only i can just throw away everything and go home with a light load... oh well.. some things u just can't throw. Okie....some updates on what had happened in my life over the pass weeks.... it's a bit long.... so hope i remember some of it.
Gold coast trip! Left on the 13th to the gold coast... finally a well-deserved break for kevin and myself, both a break after the exams and a yr of studying... and also a break frm cold melbourne. Arrived gold coast in the night... and we didn't have a place to stay... thought we could find a cheap backpackers to stay in but after driving to quite a number of places.... all we saw were NO VACANCY...hours later... i gave up... and suggested to head to the casino to kill time and later find a nice spot and sleep in the rented car. I thought maybe in the casino we could try our luck and win us a night stay somewhere... one of the bigger motels which have 24 hr receptions, our luck was pretty good.. we both won some money... but greedy me.. decided to defy myself and play the $25 table... and in just 4 rounds... i lost all my money, including my winnings. Ha... what luck... and for sure... the car was be our rented room for the night. We managed to find a nice spot at 5am along the beach of surfers paradise to see the sunrise and to sleep for a couple of hours. The sight was beautiful, it was even more beautiful to see the sunrise with kevin on our anniversary. anyway.... to cut long long loooong story short... kevin and myself went round gold coast to sight see, shop, eat then finally checked into a hotel. During the trip, we visted seaworld, movieworld, honeyworld, brisbane, went across the NSW borders, suntanned, had a nice time with a group of friends (janelle, jon, charmaine and jason, germaine and graham, etc) It was a good thing kevin and myself rented a car, we managed to see much more besides the WORLDS... and i felt it was a rather enjoyable trip.. the weather was fantastic and it's just great to relax and not to worry abt anything (cept for exam results).

Happenings in Melbourne Well.. after gold coast trip... life in melbourne was pretty hectic too.
Felice's visit Kev's friend, felice came to visit frm sydney. It's a shopping trip for her, so brought her to chapel street, smith street, bridge road, dfo, st. kilda and the city. It was nice to go to these shopping places, but poor me spent all my money in gold coast that i was left with nothing much to buy in mel. Her visit was pretty good i reckon, hope she enjoyed herself, only thing was that it was a bit too cold for her. After she left, it was back to packing, working and more packing and working.
22nd birthday Well... this yr's one was really a low key event, did nothing much, had kevin to celebrate the day with. Was pretty upset initially coz my mum had actually forgotten my bday, she thought it was a week later, but luckily i reminded her at an earlier conversation. But then... even when the clock striked 12 (melbourne time) parents didnt call, my bro didn't call too..... even the next morning.... they didnt call. i was beginning to feel insignificant.. seems like it was only kevin who remembered my birthday. In the end.... only in late afternoon then did my parents called, bro smsed me at 3am the next morning. Ho well...... Honestly... this year's bday wasn't as good as i hoped it would have been. The only highlights of the day were the nice MUD cake frm myers kevin bought, Kevin's pressie a( nice CK perfume packages with 5 different scents), kevin cooking breakfast for me, and a stand up comedy show. Ye..... that was it. Wasn't the happy happy birthday i really wanted or was hoping to have... but shall leave the comments and feelings to myself.
Working and packing ye... been working...and also been packing my stuff.. moving to the city. By now.. i've completely moved all my stuff to the city and my clayton room is empty and hopefully clean enough for the agents to return me my bond. Clayton was a nice place to live in... though boring... it was a better environment to study. I had some fond memories of clayton overall...more updates on that later.
Work has been alright.... luckily the pay is good coz the work can be shitty sometimes. Never in my wildest dreams i would thought i would have worked as a F&B attendant aka waitressing. The job isn't that bad.. but sometimes i'm just not in the mood to serve people or maybe i feel being asian and the few yellow-coloured skin in the work place doesn't help much... but then.... just a few more shifts and i'm saying bye bye to this job.... no more... or ever will i work as a waitress, besides singapore doesn't pay well for such jobs.
Guess that's pretty much what happeend the past few weeks...in the coming weeks more things happening, family will be here next friday, results out this week, graduation in 2 weeks time, more work and finally on the 21st.. i'm heading home for good.

hi there all.... it has been awhile since my last blog.. had been busy having fun, working, packing.. etc.... even now.. i'm packing up my stuff, am moving out to the city. Anyway... gng to upload some photos for you guys to see of some of the things that had been happening over the past weeks.. frm my gold coast trip to my really low key birthday.
It's all OVER!! Finally.. i had my last and only paper! But it wasn't all too good, out of 7 questions, i attempted 4 only, there goes 16 marks out 40. Sigh... i am confirm gng to fail this paper! I really hope i can pass.... just a pass will do to help me graduate! Sigh... but i wont think abt it so much.... it's over..
Anyway... after the paper i headed to the SEXPO with kevin, keith, kelvin, daniel, kareen, samuel, rae, jon and janelle. It was a rather interesting exhibition; it was sex... sex...and more sex.. in the place. There were stripshows, pole dancing, stalls selling vibrating dildos and any other kind of dildos, condoms, whips, lingerie, porn dvds/vcds/videotapes, sex games, and many many more. There were stalls showcasing their girls.. and offer any men to take photos with these girls who would pose topless with the men, of course at a price. Sadly, some of these girls are not very eye-candy... some were rather old. Nevertheless... it was a job for them.. and it's their living. It is a good experience... singapore will never ever have such an exhibition. There were even $2 peep shows to see women stripping or doing stuff with their bodies.
It was the day of clubbing for several of us too.... loft no longer had asian nights, so we headed to this place called khokalat bar, a small club along a small alley near lonsdale. It was hmmm.... a rather okay place, but when i arrived there... there weren't many people.. and most of them looked bored. Some others arrived later... and that's when the drinking and dancing began. But the music wasn't so good... the tracks the dj used were too slow for dancing... wasn't fast tempo enough.... in the end half of the group decided to go crown to gamble... i left rather early too coz kevin finished work and came to pick me.
Now... im in caufield com labs... clearing some mails... update this blog and then i'm off to pack my stuff and go to GOLD COAST for my long awaited HOLIDAY!!! I would simply adore the weather over in gold coast.... 28 degrees, 30 degrees!! hehehe melbourne is just too bloody cold and the weather is too tempremental... hot and cold on the same day. Anyway.... i'm looking forward to the beach, the sun, the fun at the themeparks, and just enjoy my one week of fun!

Titleless... I am really not in the mood to blog these days, simply coz of the paper i'll be having in the next 2 days, it's taking up my time and energy. however... in the recent blogs i had... the comments i got.. really shows me 2 different side of blog readers, who of coz have two different opinions on certain issues. Honestly... i'm tired of reading such comments... move on please? Whatever i've said... i've said it.. it's already on this blog... BLACK AND WHITE! Whether i'm am narrow-minded or beginning to create an epidemic... i dont quite care now. I am after all human, who in this world doesn't say anything bad about others? pls... think about that. the only difference is that.. no one caught u bitching abt others... whereas for me... i said it in this blog.
Whether i said my supervisor was gay.... or that australians are degrading when they are drunk.. or that the girls in the apprentice are bitches..... that is how i feel. Whoever u are... u may not feel what i felt...i am most certain... some people out there have triggered your irritation button as well. Like how my blog had triggered somes.
I do not present what i saw a fake on this blog... i was presented with all these facts/name-bashing/feelings with true encounter and reality. What i wrote... is my reality... my vision of what was presented to me, hence my reaction to these realities. Why i called the supervisor gay was not because i have something against gays... I LOVE THEM INFACT... but simply just to emphasis my frustration. Why i think the girls in the apprentice are bitches... i mean... i as a female... know exactly how bitching works... and so happen... these girls.. unfortunately smart and attractive... can be powerful bitches too. Being a bitch isn't a bad thing anyway.
We all react to what we see, hear, feel and smell.... that is what the 5 senses are for... to react to situations. I do not condemn people.... rather.. just showing my frustrations. My blog is simply just my avenue to vent my frustrations at times... if that shows my narrow-minded side.. then so be it... it is a side of the many me afterall... it is part of my reality that u people are reacting to. What i've done unto others... seems like you guys have done unto me as well... however.. just in forms of comments.
Please..... as much as you guys want me to grow up and see the world and accept it as it is...i too hope you guys can accept what i've written and respect my emotions i had to certain situations and that i prefer to express these frustrations on my blog.
hmmm... Honestly... i never expected the kind of responses i had frm the previous entry i made. I just wanted to say what i saw.... and what i felt when i saw what i saw. Anyway..... thank u for all the comments, including the first one... it made me realise even more.... that i never knew saying the comments made me a shallow person. Apparantly that 45 mins worth of watching other people's behaviour had determined my 22 years of life as a shallow and narrow minded person. Well i dont deny.. i am still at a rather young age who still needs to see alot and know alot of things, but honestly... if given someone else who sees another side of another person... will create the same response as i had.
Who likes to show their bad side of them... or who likes to even acknowledge that they had a bad side. I dont deny i have a bad side too... i believe those close to me would have seen it and acknowledge that. In fact... some people might even think i'm degrading myself. If i can acknowledge that bad side of myself.. i dont see why i cannot just make a comment on others' bad side. More so... this is my blog, as much as u can feel free to reply me... i can say what i want too. If not.... no one shld be allowed to write blogs.... honestly.....
anyway.... as far as what i;ve seen of the people i saw at flemington.... i did see that side again today. Alcohol truly brings the worst out of everyone.

i said what i wanted to say about bad behaviour.... and hope people will acknowledge that people do have bad sides... including me.
Working can be such a pain in the arse! Working for the races had been a real drain of my energy... each alternate days i had to wake up early to catch the train and be at the flemington station by 9.30am. Work is okie when u're on the move.. but standing up the whole day is crazy and aching.. and by the end of the day i'm so tired that i dont feel like doing anything, that includes studyin for my paper which is next friday. ARGH!!! So far i've read one reading only.. this aint good at all.
anyway.... i had some thoughts abt the races and all... it is great to have such a carnival for people to look forward too and party. but... sigh... these aussies really can drink and they can get drunk so easily. Everywhere i go i see people holding glasses/bottles of champange, beer, and wine and acting like really foolish people. Drunk guys picking up drunk girls, drunk men getting all too rowdy. While waiting for kevin to finish his shift yesterday, I saw 1 guy ran to another and stuck him hard on the back and a fight happened. Really dunno what made that fight happened. I also saw several drunk men trying to pick 2 girls up and they were pretty persistent, i saw 1 girl crying coz apparantly her boyfriend couldn't find her or at least didn't bother too, and i saw this girl at the corner of a shop waiting for a friend getting picked up by several drunk guys. It's just simply so amazing the sight of these party people. What i thought was an elegant day for a great time... looked so bad at the end of it. Rubbish everywhere, people downgraded themselves by the end of the day... it's just... sick to look sometimes.
Also... these few days had been raining... and it also amazes me how women wanting to look good... can dress so much lesser with such high pointed heels not have the brains to bring with them a jacket and an umbrella. Their hats wont stop the rain for them... my colleagues and i were simply so amazed how they can tolerate the rain; we were literally feeling so cold even with a 2 piece uniform on. The men were okie... saved by their suits. Oh well...
what can i say.... australians... or westerners..... dont be fulled by the media.... they dont seem all too superior or better than Asians.... in fact they look ugler and degrading.
it's amazing the kind of people u see at this event... i think i've really seen the real side of these australians. I wonder would singaporean be the same thing if given such a carnival or similar scale event in singapore. hmmmm........

i kinda regret not having a day off just to head down as a spectator and dress in pretty frocks. sigh... i wont complain.. the money is good and i will spend my money on pretty frocks for x'mas!
An okay day It's been an okay monday for me.... 1st of november... man... time does fly past so fasssttt!!!! geez... got work tomorrow...and it's gng to be damn bloody tiring. Becoz it's long hours 9.30 - 7.30pm, crowded, and it's gng to rain tomorrow!!! argh!! i'm hoping i will be working at the same tent tomorrow.. cross fingers.
Anyhow...I AM CONFIRM GNG TO GOLD COAST!!! yippieee!!! kevin and i booked our flight today and we're off to gold coast on the 13th of November. Was suppose to head there durin my birthday period but we found out it was schoolies week ( a week where all year 12 students head to gold coast to drink and get laid! ha!), so it would be damn crowded.. and accomodation would be hard to find, hence we brought forward our travel dates. So looks like i'll be spending my bday in melbourne afterall. Need to start budgeting on my spending for gold coast, mostly on the theme parks and food, no shopping... i'll save that money for shopping in chapel street! heee...
anyways... in 30 mins time it'll be ALVINA's BIRTHDAY... so.... here's the birthday wishes to you girlfriend!
