Finally!!!

I have the time to type a blog. Okie... the last time..is like... I DONT KNOW WHEN!! I've been just too busy with work... and it's not school work but SSAV ball. It's finally over. Things weren't looking good especially with the ticket sales, kym (the pressie) was really panicking, but i'm glad towards the ball date, things picked up a bit and we managed to sell 250 tics. Big shout out to Monash Caufield in selling tics for clayton, and for your hard word to sell tics for mel uni too. I must say.... mel uni did really screw up... but the mel uni students in the SSAV committee did a great job in gathering 80 over pple for the ball. Impressive for just 2 days into the ball, with no table duty. I am quite disappointed with Clayton side, I know all my friends I know went to support, but we definately have alot more members, but they wont want to go!!! Are singaporeans really the poorest of the lot in Melbourne?!?!? Why so miser! anyway.... the ball went fine and well. We were behind time initially, but later we were right on schedule. I have feedback that the games were draggy, that the place was cold, the Mcs were quite soft. But oh well, what savd it all was the performances, especially the fire dancers, they were really impressive.

I didnt really have much to eat for that day and night. I was suppose to seat with the GOH and other distinguish guests, but hilton stuffed up last min with table arrangements that we the seating plans changed. So I was left stranded.... but it was fine... i didnt had the time to really eat and entertain. SIA turned up, so did Kamp Nokturnal people, well.... i really hoped the Guests really enjoyed themselves. I saw boring faces... just hoped that they were tired.

Big shouts to all the committee members.... GREAT JOB! really.... i really like this year's committee.. everyone put in their heart and soul. Big shout outs to the 2 MCs.... thanks for the enthuscism and the help we really needed. You guys did a great job for the night too. and the BIGGEST shout out to Kymberley, the president of SSAV, she has done the most, and i really admire her patience and calmness. Girl.. things went well and as planned, u did the best job in making this happen.

To the SAM committee and friends, I really appreciate your attendance and support. I hoped everyone had a great time, whether its during the ball or at the after-party. I was glad everyone drank to their worth... and hopefully the food was good and enough for all. THANK YOU ALL!!!

Now.... its back to normal boring life... which i dont mind actually. I miss my room so much... hehehe.... Back to assignments....back to normal school days.

Oh man... I MISS SINGAPORE!!!! I watched a bit of the NDP webcast..... so memorable. hai..... I really appreciate singapore alot... I know what it means to be patriotic. I may not be PURE singaporean.... but I want to be one.... and will definately be proud to be one. Oh well.... i just miss everything Singaporean.

Will now upload some pics taken on the SSAV ball nite. :)
